Who we are & What we do

Lowlife fists

Whether it's showcasing new artists, writers, or surf spots in the mag, shooting scenes for a new skate video, or organizing a show, LowLife has a vested interest in all forms of media. We are here as a vehicle and resource for those who like to produce new work, have little to no scratch, and enjoy what they're doing. People worldwide from all arenas are encouraged to contact us to help expand the possibilities, as well as tune in and see what our peers are doing in other parts of the world.
Lowlife magazine promotes art in all forms. Board sports, irreverence, and general disregard/disgust in the rat race are a few of our guiding principles.

Our goals are simple:

1) Establish a meeting point where like minded people can contact each other to work on projects for fun or profit, or simply get some info on surfing in Morocco.
2) Function as a showcase for people in the community/network to display their talents, gain recognition, and build a portfolio.
3) Provide an alternative view of day to day life for those who seek it.

Additionally, to help fund our various works, LowLife Magazine relies on our ever-growing network of graphic and web designers which hire out for freelance jobs to help cover costs. If you fall into one of those categories and would like to help out, which you should, contact us. Please.

Lowlifemag is a subsidiary of Roman Media, a small independant media group born from travel, boardsports, and beer. We produce Lowlife Magazine and its associated products as a platform for that which deserves it.
